Decide what's right for you!
Theses milestones are an overview of the typical steps taken. Adjustments are made as needed depending on your specific project needs.
Research Phase
A dive into the current market and treads of similar items, ideas, or design.
Prototyping Phase
The product now goes through testing to ensure proper fit and ergonomics.
Sketching Phase
This is where the ideas form and functions are defined.
Detailed CAD Phase
Taking the knowledge gained from the prototype the CAD is refined and ready to finalize into production.
Initial CAD Phase
The product is now dimensioned and ready for prototyping.
Manufacturing Phase
Once the product meets all goals, detailed drawings, 3D CAD and manufacturing explanations will be created to send to a manufacturer.
Research Phase
The goal of the research phase is to gather a deep understanding of the problem space, the target users, and the market context. This phase is about more than just collecting data; it’s about uncovering insights that will guide every aspect of the design process. Here’s what it aims to achieve:
1. Understand User Needs and Pain Points
2. Define the Market and Competitive Landscape
3. Identify Design Opportunities
4. Develop User Personas and User Scenarios
5. Validate Assumptions and Reduce Risk
6. Create a Foundation for Ideation and Prototyping
Sketching Phases
Our approach is centered on making the best decisions for your product by guiding it through four focused sketching phases. Each phase carefully assesses both form and function to ensure that every element is refined and optimized for success.
Functional Sketches
In this phase, we create concepts to address the project's challenges through the product's functional aspects.
Aesthetic Sketches
Once the Functional Phase is thoroughly developed and all design requirements are defined, we use these insights to create aesthetic options.
Final Sketch
With both phases completed, we then merge them into a single cohesive design, providing a one-page summary of a final CAD-ready concept.
Testing Phase
Presenting this refined concept to potential buyers ensures the product meets or exceeds their expectations and invites valuable feedback, allowing us to fine-tune the design to align with market demands.
CAD & Prototyping
The goal of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and prototyping is to bridge the gap between concept and physical product; enabling designers and engineers to create, test, and refine product ideas before full-scale production. Here’s a breakdown of the main objectives:
Initial CAD
In this phase, our primary goal is to establish a clear sense of scale and begin adding essential details to prepare the design for prototyping.
Rapid Prototyping
As the project advances, rapid prototyping becomes essential to test ideas, validate assumptions, and refine concepts.
CAD Refinement
In this phase, our primary goal is to establish a clear sense of scale and begin adding essential details to prepare the design for prototyping.
Marketing Images
With the finalized CAD, we can produce high-quality marketing images for your sales campaign.
First Sample/Model
After the CAD is polished we can either source a manufacturer able to create a sample or a final model of the design for further testing and marketing.
